What’s Different About This PDF?
Everything is editable before download
Most Ayatul Kursi PDFs online are static — one layout, one language. Here you choose. Hindi-and-Arabic? Arabic-only with tajweed? Pocket card with no border? Build what you need.
The Arabic text is authentic
The Arabic in every PDF uses the Uthmani script — the canonical mushaf text used in Saudi Arabia and most of the Muslim world. See our Arabic text page for the full Uthmani rendering, or the tafsir for scholar-by-scholar meaning.
Translations are cited
English — Sahih International (widely accepted modern English). Hindi — our editorial translation reviewed against Maulana Faruk Khan’s Hindi tarjuma. Urdu — Maulana Fateh Muhammad Jalandhari (classical standard). Bangla — reviewed against Islamic Foundation Bangladesh. Malay — JAKIM reference.
Tajweed colors (when enabled) are classical
Red for ghunnah (nasal sound), green for madd (extended vowel), blue for qalqalah (bouncing sound). The same convention used in Saudi tajweed mushafs.
Printing Tips
- A4 / A5: use “Fit to Page” in your printer dialog so the border doesn’t get cut.
- Pocket card: print 2 or 4 per A4 sheet and cut — most browsers’ print dialog lets you set “Pages per sheet”.
- Laminate: add Scotch tape over the Arabic text if you don’t have a laminator — makes a quick wallet-size version last for years.
- Color vs black-and-white: if you toggle Tajweed Colors ON but want to print B&W, turn it OFF before saving (the colors won’t help on grayscale).
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the PDF really free, or do I need to signup?
Completely free. No signup, no email required, no watermark. Download as many customized versions as you want.
Can I print the PDF for my school, mosque or community center?
Yes — personal and non-commercial educational use is encouraged. For commercial printing (selling as merchandise), please contact us first.
Why does the Arabic look different in different browsers?
We use Amiri and Noto Naskh Arabic fonts loaded from Google Fonts. If your browser hasn’t loaded them yet (slow connection), the Arabic may show in your system default font briefly. Refresh the page once and the proper fonts will appear.
Can I add my mosque’s name or Bismillah header?
Not through this builder yet — but it’s on our roadmap. If you need a custom version for a mosque or organization, send us the details via contact and we’ll build one for you.
Which translation is most accurate?
No single translation is “most accurate” — translators make trade-offs between literal faithfulness and natural flow. Sahih International (English) is modern and widely used; Yusuf Ali is more poetic. For deep accuracy, nothing replaces reading the classical tafsir.
Can I use the PDF for Qur’an memorization?
Yes — the A4 size with tajweed colors is a traditional memorization aid. Pair this with our 12-day memorization plan and the repeat player for a full memorization setup.
