All content is provided for informational and spiritual benefit only. It is not a fatwa and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified scholar. See our full Disclaimer.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Our content

All original text, layout, design, logos, and code on the Site are © the ayatulkursi.org editorial collective, unless otherwise noted. You may:

  • Read, save, and print material for personal, non-commercial study.

4.2 Public-domain and third-party content

The Arabic text of the Qur’an is in the public domain. English translations we cite (Sahih International, Pickthall, Yusuf Ali) are the work of their respective translators; we use them with attribution. Hadith texts are cited from published collections with source references. Audio files are used under the reciter’s licence or with permission. If you believe any material infringes copyright, see our DMCA page.

  • Introduce malware, viruses, or any other harmful code.
  • Scrape or copy the Site using automated tools in violation of Section 4.1.
  • Use the Site for unlawful, fraudulent, or hateful purposes.

7. User Submissions

If you send us feedback, corrections, article suggestions, or any other submission, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it to improve the Site. You warrant that the submission is yours and does not infringe third-party rights. We are not obliged to publish or respond to submissions.

8. No Warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, but we make no warranty, express or implied, that:

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to €50 or the equivalent in your local currency. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence where such limitation is prohibited by law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any claim arising from your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice. We may update these Terms to reflect legal, regulatory, or editorial changes. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent version.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and, subsidiarily, the laws of the EU member state in which the primary administrator of the editorial collective resides.
