FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Short answers to the questions we receive most often. If yours isn’t here, email ayatulkursi.org@gmail.com.

About the Site

Who runs ayatulkursi.org/?

An informal international collective of Muslim volunteers. We are not a registered charity or company, and we do not speak for any institution. See the About page.

Is the site affiliated with any school or group?

No. We follow mainstream Sunni scholarship and cite the classical sources common to all four schools. We do not favour one school over another on points of difference.

How do you make money?

Three sources: display advertising (Google AdSense), affiliate links (mostly Amazon Associates for books), and voluntary sadaqah from readers. None of these influence what we publish. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

About the Content

Which English translation of the Qur’an do you use?

Our primary English rendering is Sahih International. Where translators differ on an important point, we quote two or three (Pickthall, Yusuf Ali, Mohsin Khan) to show the range. The Arabic is always the authoritative original. Full list on Sources & Methodology.

How do you verify hadith?

We follow the classical muhaddith method. Hadith from Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim are accepted as authentic by consensus. For hadith from other collections, we cite the grading given by recognised authorities (al-Tirmidhi, al-Albani, al-Arna’ut, Ibn Hajar). We avoid weak and fabricated narrations in content about virtues. Our process is detailed in the Editorial Policy.

Can I trust the “benefits” pages?

We only list benefits tied to an authentic hadith. Each benefit on the Benefits page links directly to its source on Sunnah.com. If you find a “benefit” on social media that has no hadith behind it, assume it is weak until verified.

Who reviews the content?

Every article passes a peer-review stage within the editorial team before publication. Corrections are welcome — email us with the page URL.

Is the PDF download free?

Yes, the Arabic + English PDF on the PDF page is free to download, keep, and share. You may not republish it commercially or alter attribution.

Can I copy articles to my site or blog?

Short excerpts (up to 200 words) with a clear citation and backlink are fine. Full republishing requires our written permission. Details in the Terms.

Technical & Practical

Does the site work on my phone?

Yes. Every page is responsive and tested on modern phones, tablets, and desktops. If something breaks on your device, please email a screenshot.

Why do I see ads?

Advertising is one of three ways we keep the site free. Ads are delivered by Google AdSense. You can control ad personalisation in your Google Ad Settings. More in our Cookie Policy.

How do I report an error?

Email ayatulkursi.org@gmail.com with the page URL and the exact wording you believe is wrong. We reply within 3–5 business days and fix confirmed errors promptly.

Can you give me a fatwa on a personal matter?

No. We are not qualified muftis. Please ask a qualified scholar in your local community. Resources like IslamQA or SeekersGuidance can help for preliminary orientation.

Support & Donations

Can I donate?

Yes — and thank you. Please see the Donate page. Note: we are an informal collective, not a registered charity, so we do not issue tax receipts and we do not accept zakat.

How can I help if I can’t donate?

Share a page you found useful, make dua for the team, or email us a correction when you spot something wrong. All three are genuine contributions.
