About Muhammad Siddiq Al-Minshawi

Sheikh Muhammad Siddiq Al-Minshawi (1920 to 1969) came from a family of reciters in Sohag, Upper Egypt; his father was a qari too.
He recorded the complete Quran in both murattal and mujawwad styles. His voice is known for its deep feeling, and his murattal is clear enough to learn from.
The Arabic on this page lights up word by word as he recites, so you always know where you are.
The pace is slow and clear, which makes it a good recording to learn the pronunciation from.
