How many times should you recite Ayatul Kursi?
The Sunnah gives times, not numbers: once after every obligatory prayer, once before sleep, and once in the morning and evening. No authentic hadith attaches a special reward to 100, 313 or 1,000 times. Repeating it is still good: it is the greatest verse of the Quran, and every recitation is rewarded.
- After every prayer: 1×Paradise is promised (an-Nasa’i, graded sahih)
- Before sleep: 1×A guardian until morning (Sahih al-Bukhari 2311)
- Morning and evening: 1×Protection until the next (graded sahih by al-Albani)
Three good ways to use it
To fall asleep
Recite it once yourself, then set Stop after 30 minutes and let it play softly as you fall asleep.
To memorise it
Choose Pause between: 10 seconds and recite it back each time. Ten repetitions a day, for a week, is enough for most people. For line-by-line practice, use the practice tool.
For a calm home
Play it non-stop on a speaker while you work or travel. “Surely in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest” (13:28).

Questions about the repeat player
What are the benefits of reciting Ayatul Kursi 100 times?
No authentic hadith promises a special reward for 100 times, or for 313 or 1,000. Reciting the Quran is always rewarded, so repeating it is good, but the specific promises are for reciting it after every obligatory prayer, before sleep, and in the morning and evening. See what is authentic about these numbers.
Is there an Ayatul Kursi 100 times MP3 download?
You don’t need a huge file: this player repeats one short recording as many times as you choose, so it starts instantly and uses very little data. To listen offline, download the single MP3 from the reciter’s page and set your music app to repeat.
Does it keep playing with the screen off?
On most phones, yes: start it, then lock the screen. If your phone stops it, tick “Keep the screen on” and leave this page open. The count still goes up while it plays in the background.
Can I fall asleep to it?
Yes. Choose “Stop after 30 minutes” (or 15, 60 or 120), press play and put the phone down; it stops by itself. Reciting it once yourself before you sleep is the Sunnah (Sahih al-Bukhari 2311), so recite it once first, then listen.
What about Ayatul Kursi 1000 times for 40 days?
That practice is not from the Sunnah, and no authentic hadith attaches a promise to it. If you choose to listen or recite often, do it as remembrance of Allah, not as a formula.
Is listening the same as reciting?
Listening attentively to the Quran is good and brings mercy, but the reward of recitation, ten good deeds for every letter, is for the one who recites. The best way to use this player is to recite along with it.
Can I make it faster?
Yes: choose 1.25× or 1.5× under Speed. For learning, a slower reciter such as Al-Husary at teaching pace works better.
Do ads interrupt the recitation?
No. There are no audio ads, and nothing on this page interrupts the recitation once it starts.
Does it remember my count?
Today’s total is saved on this device only, so you can see how many times you listened today. Nothing is sent anywhere.
